El cuarteto irlandés lanzará un nuevo álbum en marzo, «Songs of Surrender», y ofrecerá una lectura inédita a 40 canciones de la banda, llegando hoy su primer avance, nada menos que una vuelta al clásico «Pride (In the Name of Love)».

Publicado originalmente en «The Unforgettable Fire» (1984), esta nueva versión se aleja del original, con un acercamiento a lo acústico. «El proceso de selección de canciones comenzó con una serie de maquetas. Me fijé en cómo encajaría una canción si se eliminaran todos los elementos, salvo los esenciales», comentó The Edge sobre el proceso, que incluyó al afamado productor Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Kiss, Deftones, Peter Gabriel).
